Context
Spotify and Liquid death partnered up in late 2025 to create an urn that has a built in Bluetooth speaker. Users take a quiz that generates an "Eternal Playlist" for the afterlife. For a more in depth explanation, here is the press release from Spotify, and the Storefront page for Liquid Death.
The Experience
The Eternal Playlist Quiz is built using the same engine as other Spotify interactive campaigns. This was the project I led when I first joined Spotify in November of 2024. Users answer a few questions that then takes into account their answers, as well as their listening history to deliver them a playlist for the afterlife.
